Kia Earns More Awards and Accolades

The ICOTY award, determined by a panel of nationally renowned automotive journalists, reflects the emotional relationship the vehicle has with its consumers.

According to Road & Travel Magazine editor Courtney Caldwell, “The Kia Cadenza wins in this category for a variety of reasons, including Kia’s remarkable effort to emerge in the entry-lux category…Overall, the car is beautiful and affordable, making upscale style and performance attainable by mid-America. We applaud Kia’s rapid rise from underdog to unbelievable!”

The 2014 Soul has been awarded two top-ranking honors: Overall 5-Star Crash Safety Rating by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and the ALG Residual Value Award. The Government 5-Star Safety Ratings are part of NHTSA’s New Car Assessment Program and the Soul received 5 Stars, the highest overall rating that can be assigned. In addition to this, ALG recognizes vehicles every year that are predicted to best retain their value. The 2014 Soul has been acknowledged in having a higher residual value than any other vehicle in its segment.
